KOOKABURRA

An Australian brand supplies a reduced range of hockey equipment. Supplier of the world famous International Match Dimple Ball. New range due out for 2006/07.

MERCIAN

A British brand supplying products covering all aspects of hockey equipment except Astro shoes. A very well known brand that have been innovative over the years, with a very exciting new range of kit for 2006/07.

Composite stick range: M-TEC range - Great Black, Great White Oxide and Great White.

BLACK WIDOW range - Burn, Hammerhead, Hellfire, Manta, Inferno and Swordfish.

Mercian Composites in common with all brands are made from a combination of Fibreglass, Carbon (graphite) and Kevlar combined with resin in a mould. However, two of their top of the range sticks (Great White Oxide and Burn) will be available in a superlight variant this has been achieved with clever use of multi layered materials; this has allowed the reduction in the use of other heavier materials which has resulted in weight reduction, without loss of strength or power.

OBO

A New Zealand brand dealing in goalkeeping kit only. Currently the most popular senior G/K kit in the world. Well known for its famous "fit" and distinctive design, it has changed little in the last couple of years. Mainly purchased on the internet due to its "High Retail Cost", it is generally accepted that this kit is not renowned for its hard wearing capabilities (particularly the SP model) or its high rebound properties.

Kit range: Robo, Cloud 9 and Yahoo. All these cover Legguards, Kickers, Body Armour, Padded Shorts/Girdles, Helmets, Hand Protectors, Abdo Guards and Smocks.

TK

A German brand "The Fashion Brand in hockey", supplying products covering all aspects of hockey equipment. Renowned for their inventive very fashionable equipment and high quality range of clothing. All ranges have high quality finishes and this brand has become the benchmark for all others to follow. New ranges of sticks and footwear available in 06.

Composite stick range: CX range available in various lengths, head shape and bow (Vortex - approx.15mm Matrix - approx. 23mm), new range due out 06.
